The governor has now signed SB 793 into law. The bill that "raises the age" in Missouri. Previously, all 17-year-olds in the Show Me State were tried as adults, regardless of their offense. SB 793, which overwhelmingly passed the Missouri Legislature, will keep 17-year-olds in the juvenile system, where they will face more accountability for their actions and be given more support for their rehabilitation.
